Sam Lewis

I am so very sorry to hear of Craig’s passing. Craig came into my life just over 20 years ago. I was 16 years old and looking for a job for the summers in between my school years. Craig put me to work and worked my butt off. I was very fortunate to have worked with Craig in the days of Ray and Rob during some of Craig’s thriving times and as I recall some real fun times with those guys. After Craig’s accident and right after I graduated high school I had the honor of working full time side by side with Craig, just the two of us for a short while. This is when I realized what a remarkable man Craig was. He thought me so much about life, overcoming obstacles, persevering, and how when times get tough you keep your head down mouth shut and work through it with God by your side. It was at a time in my life when I was lost, right out of school, had no idea what I wanted to do and I was scared. I grew up not having a father figure in my life and I think Craig filled that void for a short time. He gave me guidance taught me work ethics and showed me how to be a responsible young man. He taught me to always fight for what I wanted and he never held me back. He pushed me to chase after my dreams and that’s what I did. Even though I only worked for Craig for a few years, he impacted my life in ways I could never thank him enough for and I don’t think he ever knew how deeply he touched my life and my family. I was working for Craig when I got married and when my son was born. Craig touched my son’s life the day he stood up with my wife and I and he blessed my son while he was baptized into the church. Even though I moved on and went about my life, chasing my dreams, I could always fall back on him for advice or talk to him when I needed to. Craig was a loving and caring father, Friend, mentor and kind soul to me and he will forever be missed! RIP my friend! Sam Lewis
