Condolence: Stan was a stand-up guy. I always appreciated his straight forward and frank demeanor. I am thankful for the support, kindness, and love he had for Mary Overpeck and Jared Rutherford. Stan will be missed but not forgotten. He had a big heart and left an inspiring imprint on our lives.

Condolence: We shared many holidays and special times with Stan and Mary. What a kind and gentle soul who always added wisdom, humor and fun to any event. He helped my mother over the years and I appreciated that more than you will ever know. I know this is a terribly heart breaking time for all of you. Just know that you have done your very best and Stan is very proud of you. Don't forget, memories last forever and you can visit those memories in your heart at anytime. Stay strong and draw on the strength of each other. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Joanne(Mary's cousin) and Pat Mills

Condolence: Stan was such a generous, kind person. For several years I had the honor of attending The Runway for Life luncheon with Mary Overpeck - because Stan bought the table and completely supported this charity. Although we never saw him we knew he was there in spirit fully appreciating what this group has done for thousands of women in our community.

Condolence: I had the pleasure of knowing Stan for the last 15 years. He came into my life when he started dating my mom, Mary Overpeck. He was truly one of the best part of our lives for many, many years. I remember times when he took my Grandma to endless doctors appointments, and when he came to fix various flat tires on my vehicles. I remember watching Jeopardy with him and he knowing all the right answers. He was an amazing force in my son's life as well. He will be greatly missed and will remain in all of our hearts forever. We love you Stan.

Condolence From: Don Mackey
Condolence: Stan was my go-to guy for metal buildings. He visited my office in Sparks every few months and we had some great chats. When I saw his obituary I said "Gosh darn it, Stan". We talked about life and death, but I'm sorry to see him leave sooner then me. He was a good, honorable man. Stan had a great life. Time for a tear now.
