Obituary for Frank Harry Malmstedt, Sr.

Frank Harry Malmstedt, Sr. died peacefully July 16, 2018. Harry was born October 27, 1921 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Franz Ludwig and Sigrid Amalia Malmstedt.

Harry was an Aerial Gunner in the Armed Air Forces in World War II. He and his wife Ruth of nearly 78 years spent their years in the Reno/Sparks area. They built their rock house by hand on their homestead off Mount Rose Highway. He was a Master Plumber, worked briefly as an Inspector for the City of Sparks and retired to enjoy some golf, their cat, and short walks.

He is survived by his wife Ruth and children Judith (Tony) Thompson, Frank, Jr. (Carol), Jerry (Carol), and numerous grandchildren, and great and great-great grandchildren.
Private services have been held.
