Craig passed away Thursday September 7th surrounded by his loving family following a short battle with cancer. Craig was born in Huntington Beach, California on September 19, 1951 to Joan Cecilia Bennigsdorf and Jack Ellis Dotson. Craig attended San Diego State University, before moving to Reno where he managed US Rentals – United Rentals for over 40 years.

Craig was preceded in death by his father Jack Dotson. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Carol E. Prince-Dotson: mother, Joan Dotson of Huntington Beach, CA; sister, Dee Clayton of Garden Grove, CA, brother, Ron Dotson of Jamul, CA, and daughter Ashley Dotson, of College Station TX, sons Brett Dotson, of Austin, TX and Ryan (Elaine) Dotson, of Reno, NV.

Craig was a director of the Nevada Reined Cow and Cutting Horse Association, and board member of the Big Ditch Irrigation Company. He was an active member of the Western Nevada Cutting Horse Association and enjoyed riding and competing in cutting horse events. Craig was also an avid fly fisher and golfer.
