Lorraine worked at Douglas Aircraft in Long Beach, California. Our family moved to Burbank, California where she and her husband built and opened a Shakey's Pizza Parlor. Lorraine also worked for Triad Corporation in Glendale, California. Upon moving to Reno, NV. Lorraine then worked at Baker and Taylor until retiring in 1987.
Lorraine had many interests; she loved to sew, cross-stitch, crocheting and knitting. She also enjoyed gardening and found she had a passion working with stain glass. Everything she made was beautiful and made with love for her family. She also loved rescuing animals! Growing up we always found room for one more dog, cat, bird, whoever needed a home.
She was known as the social butterfly in the assisted living facility where they lived. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed by her family, friends, extended family at Fernley Estates Assisted Living and especially by her 2 youngest great-granddaughters, Alexis and Mikayla!
