Emilee Marie Carr, 6, Sparks Nevada died after a short fight with a rare cancer. She passed away at home peacefully in her sleep surrounded by those she loved.
She was a first grader at Greenbrae Elementary School. She had a love of reading and thirst for learning. She was kind and thoughtful of the feelings of others, wanting to make a friend of anyone she met. Her passion was in music and art, especially painting.
She is survived by her father, Michael Carr, loving stepmother, Stacey Carr, Mother Melissa Ericsen, grandparents Tom and Ester Care, Bob Ericsen, Jim Reynolds, and Linda Duc, siblings Chloe Carr, Kanen Reynolds, Kiana Reynolds, and Chai Verdun, numerous aunts and uncles and a niece Yvette.
Funeral services are being held on Friday May 12th at 10:00 at Walton Funeral Home, 875 W. 2nd St., Reno, followed by graveside service at 1:00 pm at Our Mother Of Sorrows Cemetery.
