Bill Vario passed from this life early Friday morning on the 23rd of August. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Birdie, and his sister-in-law Harriet Pihera, many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was born in Detroit in 1945, worked 30 years at Eastern Airlines in Chicago and also at the Nugget for 10 years in the Race Book. Bill’s ready wit and funny stories entertained his many friends.
Services will be held at Ross, Burke and Knobel in Reno. Viewing will be Tuesday, August 27th 3-8pm. Funeral sevices will be Wednesday, August 28th at 11:00am with graveside services to follow.
