Marion Francis Gilbert Compston of Smith Valley, NV, born on June 5, 1928 to Stephen James Gilbert and Lorene Schenkel Gilbert of Menlo Park, California, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2018 after a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by daughter, Sharon Alice and Marion’s husband James Compston, Jr. she is survived by 5 children: Linda (husband, Dennis Acciari), Kathy (husband, Ken Peak), Mary (husband, Dennis Milligan), son Garey Compston (wife, Cheryl), Nancy (husband, Michael Nuti), 15 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren.
A Rosary is scheduled for Thursday, December 13th at 6pm at St. John’s Catholic Church in Smith Valley NV.
Funeral will be held on Friday, December 14th at 11 am at Holy Family Catholic Church in Yerington, NV.
Reception to follow at the Smith Valley Community Hall in Wellington, NV.
