Obituary for Robert "Bo Jo" Lefebvre

Print
“Bo Jo Bobby” was born in Danbury, CT. He was a Corporal and Squad Leader in the U.S. Army from 1951 until he was honorably discharged in 1953. After his time in the service, sometime in the mid 1950’s, Bobby made his way out to the west coast, eventually making Reno his home around 1958.

His first job was a bell boy at the old Holiday Hotel. In the mid 1970’s, Bobby became a partner in the Pizza Oven Restaurant. Later, he would join in partnership with Bob and Thelma Lawlor, and from that union, came Bo Jo’s. They worked side by side for almost 30 years.

After Bobby retired, he moved to Red Hawk. Part of his daily routine began with morning coffee, placing some bets at the "Book” and then like clockwork, an afternoon stop at David’s. He was a fun, honest and trusting soul. Bobby was loved by so many people.

Surviving relatives include a nephew, Ken Lefebvre and his wife Lynda of Chicago, Illinois.

A service is scheduled for 11:00 am, Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Walton’s Funerals and Cremations - Sparks, 1745 Sullivan Lane.

The date for a Celebration of Life will be announced later.
