Othello Beal Washington, Jr., 87, of Sun Valley, NV passed away quietly at Renown Medical Center after a long illness, in the early evening hours of October 28, 2018.

He was married to Mary Jo, and he became the father of Tessy, Rodger, Othello III, Marion, and John. He would later marry Hazel, and was the father of Norman, Sita, Shelly and Kim. He was the grandfather of numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was the brother of Josephine, Billy, Deanne, and Shirley.

A Celebration of Life ceremony and burial is scheduled on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 1:30 PM at the Northern Nevada Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery located at 14 Veterans Way, Fernley, NV 89408.

A private viewing is scheduled for November 7, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Walton’s Ross, Burke & Knobel Mortuary located at 2155 Kietzke Lane, Reno, NV 89502.

Othello was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Washington and his parents, Othello Washington Sr. and Annie Wolfe of Charleston, West Virginia.
