Richard (Rick) Ferro, beloved brother, father, son, grandfather and life partner, passed away October 1, 2018 in Reno.
He was a great man and an even greater partner and friend. He loved to sing country music. Fishing and hunting was his joy.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Philip and Louise Ferro and granddaughter, Gianna Ferro.
He is survived by two sons; Timothy and Jeremy Ferro, 4 brothers; Philip Ferro, Jr and wife Jill, Robert Ferro, Thomas Ferro and wife Lori, Anthony Ferro and wife Dawn, and sister Brenda Light and husband Alfred Light. He is also survived by a great extended family of grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and his life partner Veronica Messman and her son Justin, whom Rick took in as his own and all of her family that loved him as their own.
His year long battle with cancer is over, and he fought to the very end. He was taken from us way too soon, but we all know he is in a better place.
Thank you to everyone for their thoughts and prayers in this difficult time. You have been such a big part of everyone's lives. You made a difference.
