Brett Henry Blagen, March 10, 1985-August 27, 2018. The Blagen family mourns the incredible loss of their beloved Brett in Reno, Nevada. Always optimistic, generous in spirit, and kind of heart. Born and raised in Reno, Brett attended Reno High, UNLV, and graduated from UNR. He loved sports… especially football, wrestling, track and snowboarding. Brett was passionate about his artwork and was an amazing artist. He was inspired by his two older brothers, Matt and Scott, to follow and fulfill his dreams. Because of his unlimited capacity for giving, he chose a career with Infinity Hospice as an Admissions Counselor, and loved working with and helping people. Brett is survived by his love, soulmate, and best friend, Kaitlyn Robinson Blagen, the love of his life. Although married for only one year on October 21, 2018, they had a five year relationship that became a beautiful expression of their deep love for one another. He is also survived by his mother Sheryl Blagen (Doug Bernhardt), father Hank Blagen (Jane), brothers Matt Blagen (Audrey), Scott Blagen (Jamie), Brad Bernhardt, and extended family.

A celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 from 5 - 8 pm, Rancho San Raphael Park (Main Ranch House), 1595 N. Sierra Street, Reno.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests giving to the Canine Rehabilitation Center and Sanctuary, or the charity of your choice.
