Obituary for David James McIntosh

On Sunday, August 19, 2018, we lost our light. David James McIntosh (36) of Reno, Nevada passed suddenly and has left a void in all who knew and loved him.
Born in Seattle, Washington on September 8, 1981 to loving mother Carol and father Michael McIntosh.
David had a brilliant mind and a vibrant soul. His constant humor and infectious laugh brought joy to everyone who knew him. His generosity and kindness knew no boundaries. David loved all music and danced with a passion. He loved nature which included jumping off of big rocks and skinny dipping with his Gina and beloved friends.
David attended Garfield High School and then entered the University of Washington in 1999, where he majored in economics. He then went on to attend law school at Monterey College of Law, receiving his Juris Doctor in May 2015. It was near Monterey that he met the love of his life and moved to Reno to be with her. He and Gina Alexander were married on August 18, 2017, in the hills overlooking Lake Tahoe. David began his career in Reno at the Law Office of Sinai, Schroeder, Mooney, Boetsch, Bradley & Pace, and volunteered his time at Nevada Legal Services. David loved the Law and had just passed the California Bar in July 2018, and was looking forward to starting a new chapter in the legal field, as a licensed attorney.
David is survived by his wife Gina Michaela McIntosh; his mother Carol McIntosh and step-father Robert Heuser, father Michael McIntosh and step-mother Nancy Hines; brother Christopher McIntosh; step -brother Rob (Meron) Hauser, and three step-sisters, Wendy Heuser Burnham, Elizabeth O’Rourke and Jennifer (Brian) Wendorf; nieces Madeleine and Eloise McIntosh; step-nieces and nephews Zachary, Michaela and Jameson O’Rourke; Emma, Alexis, CJ and Lila Burnham; Ava and Teddy Hauser; and Scarlett, Lucy and Archie Wendorf; mother-in-law Alessandra Matteucci Alexander, father-in-law Michael Alexander, as well as many other relatives and friends who loved him dearly.
