The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Edwin Robert ("Bob") Lukens can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Patricia Hubbard
Condolence: I wish to express my sincere condolences to the family and friends of Edwin Robert Lukens. May you find comfort in your loving memories of Bob and in God’s promise to see our loved ones again through the resurrection. (Acts 24:15) What joy it will be to welcome back Bob to a beautiful, peaceful earth (Psalms37:10,11,29) where all pain, sickness and death will be no more! (Rev 21:4) Hold on to all your happy memories of Bob and let these, along with all the promises of God, who cannot lie, bring you comfort and peace! My deepest sympathy!
I invite you to visit jw.org for additional information on this comforting hope.

Condolence From: Lisa Kerr
Condolence: I lived twelve steps away from Bob’s front door for nearly ten years. He was the kind of landlord that lowered the rent rather than raised it. Will miss all those meals we shared, the stories, the laughter. He was my friend, mentor and ultimately family. There’s no one like him in the world. Love you Bob. Miss you always.

Condolence From: Judith Rhodes Hafdahl
Condolence: When I read about Bob's passing in this morning's paper, it brought back a flood of fond memories. I worked with Bob in the Washoe County offices in the 1970s. He was always there with a smile and brightened my day more than once. I have thought of him often over the years and will continue to remember him as a good man and a good friend.
