Mary Lou Brown 81, passed away Wed., April 25, 2018 at home in Reno, Nevada, surrounded by her family, following an illness. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio and raised in Southern California; the daughter of Joseph and Dorothy Wilber.
Mary Lou is preceded in death by her late husband Carl O. Brown and brothers: Bob, Dick, Jim, Don and Joe. She leaves behind her two daughters Kathleen Brown-Lindstrom and Marie Caliger; her son Steve Brown; her brother, Bill Wilber as well as 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Mary retired as a Massage Therapist and a Physical Therapy Technician at Washoe Medical Center for 17 years. Mary loved the outdoors. Her favorite place was Yosemite! She enjoyed hiking, skiing, camping, biking riding and even completed the MS150 Bike-a-thon in her 50’s-twice. She had a love for watching Western Movies and eating sweets.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, May 1st from 5PM-7PM at Walton Sierra Chapel: 875 West 2nd Street, Reno, NV. Services will be held at 1PM on Wednesday, May 2nd at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Cemetery.
