Obituary for Stephen S. Kuriscak, Jr.

Stephen S. Kuriscak Jr. 52, met God to be greeted by his father and mother and other loving relatives in Heaven on April 21, 2018 in his home town of Reno, Nevada. Steve was born on February 14, 1966 to Stephen and Loretta Kuriscak.

He leaves behind Christina, a dedicated and loving wife and companion of 14 years. He is also survived by his brother, S. Scot Kuriscak and wife, Cindy of Reno, sister, Jeanette Pumphrey and nephews, Jack and Joe Pumphrey of St. Charles, MO and numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Steve was an avid sportsman including fishing, hunting and camping.

He was employed by the VA Medical Center of Reno, NV for 32 years. Steve's passion to make people laugh with his very dry humor was one of the traits he inherited from his Pop. Steve's extraordinary knowledge of many, many subjects was a trait he inherited from his mother who passed 30 years prior and has been greatly missed by all. The family always said that Loretta was the internet until the internet was invented.

Steve's laughter still rings in our ears and although he had a short time on earth, God knew his work was done and took him to his next adventure.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Walton's, 875 West Second Street, Reno with A Celebration of Life Reception to follow at Walton's Event Center, 600 West Second Street, Reno.
