Obituary for June Haycock

June Haycock passed away quietly on April 5, 2018 in Reno, Nevada at the age of 103. She was born at home in McGill, Nevada on September 15, 1914 to Hugh and Dora McGuire.
She graduated from Wells High School in Wells, Nevada in 1932. She then attended the University of Nevada, Reno where she was a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority.
She married Albert Agee and had some of the best years of her life living on the Vineyard Ranch in Elko County. After Albert’s passing, she moved to Reno in 1954 and later married Richard Hayman. June enjoyed her job as a realtor in Reno for 25 years. In 1966 she married Gordon Haycock. They built a home together in Verdi, Nevada in the late 70’s where she enjoyed entertaining friends and family. June loved to travel and lived a full life. She loved being surrounded by deer and other wildlife and especially her beloved cats.
Several years after Gordon passed away she married Clarence Meese. Most importantly in June’s life was her family. She also cherished her many friends and her Verdi firemen friends. June was surrounded by many loving friends and family before her death.
June is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Phillip McGuire, husbands, Albert, Richard, Gordon and Clarence, step-daughters, Diana Kuntze and Stephanie Hodgson, and
great-nephew, Edward Frisch.
She is survived by stepson, Kip Haycock and numerous nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren and step- great-grandchildren. June was loved by many and will greatly missed.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Walton’s Funeral Home 875 W. Second Street, Reno, Nevada.
