Daniel Ray Fruge’, 80, of Fernley, NV went to be with his Lord on April 1, 2018 at 11:53pm. Born October 21, 1937 in Elton, LA to Preston and Armunce Marie (Ashford) Fruge’.
Served in the United States Army during the Korean War from 1956-1958. He moved to California in 1960. Married his sweetheart, Mae Criddle July 23, 1963 in the Salt Lake Temple in UT.
Daniel was preceded in death by his son, George Fruge’ in 2015. He is survived by his wife, Mae Fruge’ of Fernley, NV, brother, Thomas (Jackie) Fruge’ of Sulphur, LA, sister, Dolores Fruge’ of Pinecrest, LA, daughter, Connie Fruge’ of Fernley, NV and daughter-in-law, Patricia Fruge’, grandson, Jack Fruge’, granddaughter, Jennifer Fruge’, great-grandson, Decklan Fruge’ of Reno, NV.
Viewing will be held Sunday, April 8, 2018 from 4-6pm at Walton’s Funeral Home, Sierra Chapel, 875 W. Second St, Reno, NV 89503. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 9, 2018 at 10am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Fernley, NV. Daniel’s final resting place will be at Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley, NV.
