I was so saddened to read that your beloved Jack had passed away, but thrilled for him to finally be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I can see him in God's presence with his little giggle and big smile.
I can remember when he came to my new house the first time. He checked everything out, like any Dad would do to make sure everything was acceptable for me. I could tell he was as proud of me as my own Dad would have been.
He was always so helpful with my little projects when I went to P&S for what I thought I needed, and come home with the right material that Jack knew I needed. I love hardware stores, as I spent a great deal of time in them with my Dad. Again, my dad connection. Yes< I have many Dad figures in Reno, and Jack was one of the first.
I remember when the two of you came to Choir. What an addition to Don, Chuck, and John. And when they were in the mood they could boom it out. I always enjoyed singing "This Is A Tune" cause they really got into being the stars for a moment. Lots of fun and good times.
I will not be able to attend the service due to my health, but wish mightily that I could give you a huge hug Laura. So please consider yourself Hugged.
Condolence: Dear Laura and family:
Saddened to read of Jack's passing and our sympathy to all of you. What a beautifully written obituary. It so summed up the Jack that we knew and loved. He had a wonderful life with such a loving family. I will always cherish our time together and our years of friendship.
