Patrick Eugene O’Grady, 85, passed away peacefully in Reno, Nevada on Tuesday, February 13, 2018. Born and raised in the Bronx, New York, he was the second oldest of nine siblings. Pat was a proud U.S. Marine, and served in Korea. He moved west to Lake Tahoe, where he married and raised his family; he took pride in being a volunteer fireman. He retired from AT&T where he pioneered the installation of the first telephone lines throughout Northern California. He is survived by his children: Patty, John, and Sean; grandchildren: Melissa, David, and Braden.
Funeral services will be held at Walton’s Funeral Home - Sierra Chapel on Saturday February 17, 2018 at 1:00 PM. Memorial donations may be made in Pat’s name to The Michael J.
