Obituary for Dorothy Mae Bringle

Dorothy Mae Bringle peacefully took her final breaths at home on January 15, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Born March 19, 1929 in Oconto Falls, Wisconsin, she was raised in a large family with 2 brothers, (Clifford and Gerald) and 5 sisters, (Elaine, Sylvia, Romaine, Yvonne and Janet). She married the love of her life, Floyd Dale Bringle in Roseburg, Oregon where they started their family, finally settling in Reno, NV. Dottie was a world traveler, Kauai adoring, pajama wearing, peanut-butter and jelly eating, coffee loving, shoe fashionista. The matriarch of the family, she fiercely loved and protected her family. Her message in life was to love each other and learn to forgive. She was blessed with a wonderful sense of humor was kind and loving touching many lives. A long time resident of Sparks, she enjoyed camping, traveling and reading. She adored spending time with her family and cherished having her great-grandchildren spend the night.
She was preceeded in death by her husband, Dale Bringle and son, Marshall Bringle. Dottie is survived by her daughter, Deanna Snell and husband Frank, grandchildren, Aimee (Cody) Killam, Travis (Milissa) Bringle, Ryan (Breanne) Bringle and Katrin (Thomas) Diehl. She had 6 great grandchildren and one great-great-grand-daughter.
Services will be held at Walton's Funeral Home, 875 W 2nd St, Reno, NV, Wednesday, 1/24/2018 at 1:00 PM. A reception will follow at her home.
