Condolence: When I was about five years old my folks sent me to swim class. I remember we were told: pick a buddy and don't go in the water without your buddy. I met Lynn in 1987 when we were newcomers together hoping to recover some peace and sanity in our lives. We became buddies. It was incredibly helpful to have someone to compare experiences and provide the solace of the occasional gut check. Over the years I have counselled many more newcomers: get a buddy (describing Lynn and our mutual assistance experience). In this way I believe Lynn has been and will continue to be honored many times. He was a great buddy who helped a lot of people.

Condolence: Dear Sandy,
I am so sorry to hear of Lynn's passing. I worked with Lynn at the VA, and had lunch with him and others almost daily. I remember his homemade bread and cheese sandwiches! He was a kind person, and I know he'll be greatly missed. My condolences to you, Sandy, during this sad time.
