Frances Lynette Morton, 75, of Reno, Nevada passed away on November 4, 2017, surrounded by her family. She was born October 3, 1942 in Chickasha, Oklahoma, the daughter of Annette Lynn. On August 11, 1962, she married Roy E. Morton Jr. who survives.
Lynette graduated from Georgian Court College in 1979. She was then employed in New Jersey as a mathematics teacher for 18 years. She helped to open and run a family roller rink, Tuckerton Skate way, with her husband and children from 1982-1999.She was also instrumental in opening and running her daughter’s business, Jennifer’s Dancin’ Studio next door the roller rink from 1986-1999.
She is survived by her husband, Roy; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and her husband James Fahey; son, Roy Morton III; and grandchildren, Patricia Fahey and Roy Morton IV; and brother, Phillip Henkle. A service is to be held Friday, November 10, 2017 at Walton’s Funerals in Reno, Nevada.
