Mr. Charles “Chuck” Madden Jr., of Reno, NV., passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at the age of 75.
Chuck was born to parents Charles Sr. and Gladys Silva, on February 19, 1942 in Honolulu, HI. He grew up as the eldest of two and graduated High School in Redding, CA in 1960. In 1962, he served our country as an Electricians Mate in the United States Navy until 1966, and served in the Naval Shipyard until 1972.

Chuck married Ora Marie Madden in 1989 and continued in management businesses until his retirement in 2001. Chuck enjoyed Raiders football, bowling, big cheeseburgers, and family. Chuck and Marie lived in Reno until his passing.

Chuck is survived by his wife Ora; son Rick (Jennifer) Madden; his son, Jim (Jennifer) Ranes; his daughter Beth (Todd) Fresh; his daughter Marissa Barry; his father Clarence Welch; his sister Kathy (John) Brandes; twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and two nephews.

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service at Walton’s Funerals and Cremation’s, 2155 Kietzke Lane, Reno, NV 89502 on October 11, 2017 at 1:00 PM followed by a reception at Sun Villa Estates, 91 Cabernet Parkway in Reno, NV 89512.
