Obituary for Ronald Lee Jarvis Sr.

Ronald Lee Jarvis Sr., a resident of Sparks NV. passed away unexpectedly on the 20th of August 2017 at the age of 70.

Ronald was born Dec. 21, 1946 in Mesa AZ. to Andrew Lee Jarvis and Josephine Rothlisberger. He served, honorably, in the United States Navy from 1967 to 1971. He worked in the trucking industry for over 30 years. He loved camping, fishing, and watching old western movies. Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Peggy Joyce Jarvis (Tipping); his 3 brothers; Fred Jarvis, Tim Jarvis, and Roscoe Jarvis; his 2 sisters; Charolette Phillips, and Lessa Barnett; his son Ronald Lee Jarvis II and his wife Nikolett; 3 daughters; Ann Marie Coupland, Debra Lynn Jarvis, and Jenny Wright and her husband Douglas; 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and many, many cousins, nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by his mother and father; his sister Claudia Jarvis; his brother Richard Jarvis; and son Dewayne Throop.

A funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 am, with a viewing at 9:00 am, Monday, August 28, 2017 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints building on 1114 Prater Way in Sparks NV. Ronald will be laid to rest at 1:00 pm at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley NV. Followed by a gathering of remembrance by his loved ones at the home of his daughter Jenny in Sparks, NV.
